'Bloodstained' Game by Castlevania's IGA Casts David Hayter

The campaign already met its first three stretch goals to upgrade the included artbook to hardcover (US$600,000), to add a second playable character (US$700,000), and to add a higher difficulty mode (US$800,000). The creators aim to release the game on Xbox One, Steam (for Windows, Mac, and Linux). Igarashi stated that he has partners that will provide further funding if the demand is proven.
As of press time the project has earned US$873,468 with 32 days remaining.
Bloodstained -Ritual of the Night- will be an "action-adventure game in the gothic horror style." The game will offer single-player, collaborative, and versus modes. The Kickstarter describes the game:
You are Miriam, an orphan scarred by an alchemist curse which slowly crystallizes your skin. You must battle your way through a demon-filled castle summoned by Gebel, your old friend whose body has become more crystal than flesh.
