Sonar Pocket Performs Ushio & Tora TV Anime's Ending Song

Band to release "Hero" CD single on August 19

This year's 28th issue of Danchi Tomoo.

Tokuma Japan Communications will release "Hero" CD single on August 19 in three different packages. The limited first pressing will come with a DVD for 1,286 yen (around US$10). The regular edition will come in "A" and "B" versions. The "B" version's jacket will have an Ushio & Tora illustration on the jacket. Each will cost 1,000 yen (around US$8).

Rock band perform the anime's opening theme song "Mazeru na Kiken." Tokuma Japan Communications will release the song's CD single, which will come with a special illustration drawn by Fujita, on August 5.

ADV Films released the earlier original video anime project, and it describes the story:

Ushio thinks that his father's talk of an ancient ancestor impaling a demon on a temple altar stone with the legendary Beast Spear is nuts, but when he finds the monster in his own basement, Ushio has to take another look at the family legend! To save his friends and family from the invading spirits, Ushio is forced to release Tora from his captivity. But will the creature prove to be worse than the curse?
