Tōken Ranbu Game Gets Stage Play, Musical Adaptations

Game franchise also gets 4- manga adaptation starting in July

Japanese game developer game into both a stage play and a stage musical.

Marvelous (Vampire Knight musicals) will adapt it into a stage musical.

Each company will announce more details about its respective adaptations in the future.

The Tōken Ranbu "sword personification training game" takes famous swords from Japanese history and interprets them as merchandise.

The July issue of Monthly Bushiroad magazine also revealed earlier this month that the game is a four- manga anthology starting in the magazine's August issue on July 8. Kikuyarō is drawing the manga.

DMM previously released games that turned Japanese World War II warships into girls for Kantai Collection and power tools and construction vehicles into girls for Ore Tower ~Over Legend Endless Tower~.
