Studio Bones Animates My Hero Academia Show, Posts 1st Visual

Fullmetal Alchemist studio adapts superhero story

The official website for the television Fullmetal Alchemist) will produce the animation for the project. The site also unveiled the anime's first visual.

Horikoshi Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. The manga's story is set in the modern day, except people with special powers have become commonplace throughout the world. A boy named Izuku Midoriya has no powers, but he still dreams of becoming a Hero.

The 48th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump had revealed that the 49th issue would have a "super super super important announcement" on Monday. Additionally, the official posted a picture last Tuesday that said that a television anime adaptation had been green-lit.

The manga's first compiled book volume ranked on Oricon's chart of the top ten best selling graphic novels in Japan in its first week of release. Shueisha shipped the manga's fifth volume on August 4. The company will ship the sixth volume on November 4.
