CGV Blitz to Also Show Eyes Horror Film in Indonesia

Indonesian cinema chain CGV revealed that they were showing the film in Indonesia. None of the cinema chains have announced the opening date for the film. The Indonesian Film Censorship Board ed the film on October 26.

A series of sinister events occur one after another to Yukari. She finds incomprehensible scribbles left on her porch, one of her best friends is killed in an accident, her father disappears leaving a puzzling message, and then her mother attempts suicide. While all of this is happening, a mysterious girl keeps appearing before Yukari. Who is she, and is she responsible for all these strange events?
The film stars Taichi Yamada, and Keiji Nakagawa.
The film is based on horror novelist Kōji Suzuki's "Shirushi" short story, which he published in his Eyes book of collected short stories in 2005. The film opened in Japan on June 6.
Many of Suzuki's novels, such as Ring, Rasen, Birthday, and Michite Kuru Toki no Mukō ni. His Ring and Dark Water novels have also been adapted into live-action films both in Japan and the United States.
