Idol Group Perfume to Hold Concerts in 4 U.S. Cities

An official website for idol group COSMIC EXPLORER" opened on Monday. The website reports that the group will hold concerts throughout Japan in seven different cities, as well as in four cities in the United States.
The performance list for the tour includes:
May 3-4 - Miyazaki Prefectue (Sekisui Heim Super Arena)
May 21-22 - Fukuoka Prefecture (Ecopa Arena)
May 28-29 - Fukui Prefecture (Sun Dome Fukui)
June 4-5 - Tokushima Prefecture (Asty Tokushima)
June 16, 18-19 - Chiba Prefecture (Makuhari Messe)
June 25-26 - Wakayama Prefexture - Wakayama Big Yell
July 2-3 - Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center Hokkaido Kita Yell
August 26 - Los Angeles, California (The Wiltern)
August 28 - San Francisco, California (The Warfield)
August 31 - Chicago, Illinois (Vic Theatre)
September 3-4 - New York City, New York (Hammerstein Ballroom)
Tickets for Japanese venues will cost 7,500 yen ($60). Tickets in the United States will cost US$39.50, $49.50, or $59.50 in Los Angeles; $49.50 or $59.50 in San Francisco; $49.50 in Chicago; and $39.50, $49.50, or $59.50 in New York. All U.S. tickets will go on sale online on March 21.
Perfume is a technopop group that formed in 2000 with Ayano Ōmoto (NOCCHi). The group released their last album Level3 in October 2013, which debuted in the number one spot in the Oricon's weekly album ranking chart. The album sold 165,748 copies in its first week.

The group's next album, Cosmic Explorer, debuts on April 6 before the new tour starts.
