Danganronpa 3 Anime Will Air Both Arcs Simultaneously in July

2 episodes will air weekly; Junichi Suwabe cast for "Mirai Hen"

The official website of the anime announced on Tuesday that the anime will premiere both its "Mirai Hen" and "Zetsubō Hen" parts in July. As a result, two new Danganronpa 3 episodes will premiere every week. The site also unveiled a new visual for "Zetsubō Hen."

announced that "Mirai Hen" will debut first in July, while "Zetsubō Hen" will air sometime after. "Mirai Hen" will focus on the characters from the first game installment, while the "Zetsubō Hen" will tell the story of the characters of the Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair game. The anime will illustrate what happened to the characters before the events of the game.

In addition, the website revealed additional cast for both its "Mirai Hen" and "Zetsubō Hen" parts.

The newly-announced cast appearing in the "Mirai Hen" part of the anime include:

Toshiyuki Morikawa as Kyōsuke Munakata

Mai Nakahara as Chisa Yukizome

Junichi Suwabe as Jūzō Sakakura

The newly-announced cast for the Danganronpa 2-based "Zetsubō Hen" part includes Minami Takayama as Hajime Hinata. She reprises her role from the Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair game.

The television anime series will be the conclusion of the "Hope's Peak Academy" series' original story.

Yoshinori Terasawa is the "Otasuke Producer."
