Live-Action Higurashi Show Gets Sequel in November

The live-action television series based on Ryūkishi07 and Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai and consist of four 60-minute episodes. The main cast will reprise their roles.
The sequel series' story will cover the Meakashi-hen (Eye Opening Chapter) and Tsumihoroboshi-hen (Atonement Chapter) arcs from the original software. Meakashi-hen and Tsumihoroboshi-hen are the first two answer arcs in the original series.
The first live-action television Spirited Away by the Demon Chapter), Watanagashi-hen (Cotton Drifting Chapter)), and Tatarigoroshi-hen (Curse Killing Chapter) arcs. The series told the story of each arc in two episodes.
Kamen Rider Drive's Go Shijima; pictured right) starred alongside him as Keiichi Maebara.
Shinobu Tsuruta played Teppei Hōjō and Kuraudo Ōishi, respectively.

07th Expansion's original Higurashi no Naku Koro ni visual novel software revolved around murders that coincide with an annual festival in a quiet rural village. The software inspired two television anime series, several video anime projects, two live-action films, and manga adaptations by several artists.
