Samurai Warriors: Sanada Maru Game's Video Previews Game Mechanics

KOEI TECMO America and developer Omega Force are proud to announce the western release of a ‘one versus thousands’ tactical action title focused on a fan-favorite character from the Samurai Warriors franchise: Yukimura Sanada. In this character-driven epic, players will get a unique look into the Sanada clan's inner workings before and during the 16th century conflict that drove two brothers to opposite sides of a grand scale civil war.

The game will be available for retail and for 7,800 yen ($77) plus tax for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions and 6,800 yen ($67) for the PlayStation Vita version. A "Treasure Box" edition — which also includes an artbook, soundtrack CD, and a six-piece acrylic coaster set with a special case — will retail for 12,800 yen ($126) for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions and 11,800 yen ($117) for the PlayStation Vita version. First print editions will come with a code for Sanada Yukimura's red armor from the Sanada Maru NHK drama series.

Confirmed characters in the game include Sanada Yukimura as a child (voiced by Marika Kōno). The game will cover the 48 years of Yukimura's life.
