The game stars new characters Ickx Neve (voiced by Tales of the Abyss) is writing the scenario.
Bandai Namco Entertainment first announced the game in December 2015, and it is slated to launch on iOS and Android some time this year. Bandai Namco Entertainment has trademarked "Tales of the Rays" in Europe.
The Tales of game released the game in English last year.
