Tsutaya's Culture Convenience Club Purchases Publisher Tokuma Shoten

Tokuma Shoten. In a deal expected to be completed at the end of March, CCC intends to increase its stake in the company from 15% to 96%. CCC plans to leverage Tokuma Shoten's publishing expertise and expand its bookstore business.
Tokuma Shoten is primarily a print material publisher, but it is known for Viz publishes many of these books in English.
Tokuma Shoten publishes several manga and anime magazines, including Animage, and Chara.
