Kids on the Slope's Yuki Kodama Launches New Series in July

The June issue of Yuki Kodama will launch a new manga series in the magazine's September issue on July 28.
Kodama recently Tsukikage Baby manga on March 28. She launched the manga in Monthly Flowers in November 2012. The manga's ninth and final compiled book volume (seen right) will ship on May 10. The omnibus series is set in a small provincial town that has maintained the traditional ways of Japan. The stories follow the human drama among the families there from various points of view.
Kodama launched her nine-volume ended the series in March 2012. Shogakukan published a one-volume spinoff manga titled Sakamichi no Apollon: Bonus Track in November 2012.
The manga released the series on home video in 2013.
The manga is inspiring a live-action film slated for 2018.
