Anime Expo Hosts Lemon & Sugar Franchise at July Event

The staff for Anime Expo announced on Saturday that the event will host Lemona Design's "Lemon & Sugar" franchise at the event. Anime Expo will announce "Lemon & Sugar's activities at AX" at a later date. The event will mark the franchise's first overseas appearance.
The franchise includes merchandise, illustrations, a four- manga, and LINE stickers. Lemona Design released a "Lemon & Sugar Song" animated music video on Saturday.
The franchise centers on a little girl named Lemony and her best friend, a dog named Sugar. Together, they spread love about lemons "as the world's first Lemon Ambassador."
This year's Anime Expo convention will run from July 1 to July 4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. In addition, the convention will formally include a preview night a day before on June 30.
Musicians ☆Yui Horie will be in attendance.
The event will Dragon Ball Super-themed scavenger hunt.
