The official Japanese website for game announced on Wednesday that the game will discontinue service on November 29, 2017.

Item sales will end on September 6. Items already purchased will be usable until service ends. Players with unused consumable items by November 29 will be compensated with Nexon Points on December 13.
ANN reached out to Nexon America regarding the status of the English version of the game, but Nexon America didn't respond to ANN's request by press time.
Nexon original name was Ghost in the Shell: First Connection Online.
Nexon America launched a major update last month. Nexon launched the game in Japan in November 2016.
The official website describes the game:
Section 9 in a first person shooter experience. Become a member of an elite force of cybernetically enhanced combat operatives dedicated to the defense of society, and use your advanced firepower, Tachikoma Tanks and unique cyber skills to bring down cyber terrorists in a connected world.
The game features characters from the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex anime. Players can augment their avatars' "human shell," and can fight as one of several different operatives, each featuring a unique cyber skill. Players can also share their skills with teammates.
