Crunchyroll Adds 'Wake Up, Girls!', Time Bokan Sequels to Simulcast Lineup

Time Bokan: The Villains Strike Back (Time Bokan: Gyakushū no San-Okunin) this fall.

Wake Up, Girls! New Chapter will premiere on October 10 at 2:05 a.m. EDT, and will be available worldwide outside of Asia. Time Bokan: The Villains Strike Back will premiere on October 7 at 7:00 a.m. EDT in the the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Netherlands, Denmark, and Central and South America including the Caribbean.

Crunchyroll also announced that its Anime-Gataris will premiere on October 8 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. It will be available in the United States, Canada, South Africa, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, and Central and South America

Crunchyroll began streaming a subtitled trailer for Wake Up, Girls! New Chapter:

DIVE II Entertainment, and the original story and scripts are credited to "Green Leaves." The new anime will feature the previous Wake Up, Girls! group , and also new characters. The Wake Up, Girls! idol group are performing the opening theme song "7 Senses" and the ending theme song "Shizuku no Kan" (Drop's Crown) for the series.

The Time Bokan sequel will follow the three villains of Akudama as they try to take over as main characters. They will try to collect mysterious treasure held by famous historical figures.

The original Time Bokan television anime series premiered on Fuji TV in 1975, and its original broadcast ended in 1976. The anime inspired six spinoff television anime series, including Yatterman, that aired until 1983.
