Under the Dog Kickstarter for Live-Action Short, Music Video Launches

Japanese music company short and music video on Friday. The project is seeking to raise US$50,000 by November 17 to fund the two projects and a special edition release of the original anime.
If the project is successful, the live-action short, titled Overture to Under the Dog, would feature a voiceover by K-ON! theme songs) would write the new song's lyrics. Seto would perform the theme song.
The staff plan for the two new projects to accompany Japanese theatrical screenings and web streams of the original 30-minute anime short Under the Dog Episode 0. The total runtime of this special edition would be 54 minutes. An international Blu-ray Disc and DVD release would follow. The premiere screening is scheduled for between January and April 2018.
The Kickstarter page notes that the staff consider the project to be the "next step" toward creating an Under the Dog television anime series.
Episode 0 was raised US$878,028 in Kickstarter pledges.
