Revue Starlight TV Anime Reveals Teaser Video, Visual, Summer Premiere

The official website for Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight franchise revealed on Monday that the project's television anime will premiere this summer. The website also revealed 15- and 30-second versions of a teaser trailer and a key visual for the anime.
The Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight -The LIVE- #1 revival stage performance, which included live screenings at various theaters in Japan, announced the new information about the anime on Monday. Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight -The LIVE- #1 revival ran for four performances at AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo from Saturday to Monday. Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight -The LIVE- will get a new run at Tokyo's The Galaxy Theatre from October 13-21.
The project's unit Starlight Kukugumi will release its second single, titled "Starlight Theater," on March 7. The release will bundle advance ticket applications for a concert that will be held at Tokyo's Olympus Hall Hachiōji on June 23.

Bushiroad announced the franchise in April with a stage musical and television anime project. The musical Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight The LIVE, billed as a "2.5 dimension musical and live concert," ran in Tokyo from September 22-24. It featured the same cast as the planned anime.

The franchise centers on "Starlight" — the song and dance revue troupe loved throughout the world.
