Masami Nagasawa Guest Stars in 2018 Doraemon Film

Nagasawa plays Fiona, wife of Captain Silver, in March 3 film

The official website for Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Takarajima (From Up On Poppy Hill's Umi Matsuzaki) will guest star in the film as the character Fiona (seen below). The character is wife of Captain Silver, mother of Flock and Sarah, and key to the film's story.

The film will open in Japan on March 3. A lottery chose a total of 3,000 people to attend five advance screenings of the film at theaters in Japan on February 24-25.

Treasure Island.

Other cast include:

Daiki Yamashita as Flock, a boy who knows the secret of Treasure Island. He worked as a mechanic aboard a pirate ship. He s up with Doraemon and the others in order to rescue his sister Sarah, who he left on the pirate ship.

Fumiko Orikasa as Sarah, Flock's sister who looks just like Shizuka. She works as the cook in the pirate ship.

Ryûzaburô Ôtomo as GAGA, a pirate on Captain Silver's ship, and husband to Vivi. While Vivi is a lot smarter than he is, GAGA is an expert at wielding guns.

Saori Hayami as Vivi, a pirate on Captain Silver's ship, and wife to GAGA. The crew look up to her as a reliable older sister, and she is an expert at wielding swords.

The film is inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island novel. In the film's story, Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo set out on an adventure in the Caribbean Sea. Nobita is the captain of a ship and fights his enemies on board. Shizuka gets kidnapped, and a storm impedes their journey. Mini-Dora robots help Nobita and friends on their journey. When the adventurers finally find the mysterious Treasure Island, they discover it is more than just an ordinary island.
