game. The trailer highlights the first DLC batch and characters on the second and third batch.
The first DLC batch, "Jūka no Hasha," features the following additions:
- New playable characters Yamikaze, Dyne, and Musketeer X
- Deathmatch Battle for online versus mode
- Battle of Bullets mode: Fighting characters at random (offline play only)
- New story and quests
- High-level difficulty dungeons and enemies
- New characters, costumes, and hairstyles
The second DLC batch features characters Shirley, Clarence from Sword Art Online: Alicization.
Each DLC batch can be Yen Plus tax, but players can obtain all three DLC batches by purchasing a DLC Season . The DLCs will be available for in Spring 2018.
The game will also add other characters from Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online: Llenn, Pitohui, M, and Fukaziroh will be available in Hero Battle Mode. The Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online anime will premiere in April.

The game developed by Reki Kawahara supervised the game's original story. Players' choices and interaction determine the course of the story. Players can create skills and abilities and utilize new weapons.
