Encouragement of Climb Season 3 Video Previews New Season's Fall Setting

The official website for the third season on Saturday. The video previews the anime's new fall setting.

The anime is based on Yama no Susume manga series. The manga inspired a 12-episode anime series in January 2013. Each episode of the first season was five minutes long. The second season, Yama no Susume Second Season, premiered in July 2014 and had 24 episodes. Each episode in the second season was 15 minutes long. The Yama no Susume: Omoide Present screened at 10 Aeon Cinema theaters in Japan last October.

The manga and anime tell the story of childhood friends: Aoi, a girl who prefers staying inside and who has acrophobia, and Hinata, a girl who loves mountains. The two decide to climb a mountain in order to once again see the morning sun from its peak as they did when they were young.
Shiro launched the manga in published some of the manga in English before the site shut down.
