Bee and PuppyCat Gets 2nd Season Co-Produced by Pokémon's OLM

YouTube channel began streaming a promotional video for the new season.
The length of each episode will increase to a half hour for the new season. The series will be available through VRV streaming platform.
OLM was previously involved with the series, but animation production is completely switching to the anime studio for the second season. OLM's Los Angeles-based subsidiary Cannon Busters) is serving as showrunner, and she moved to Tokyo to work on the series.
President and CEO of OLM Toshiaki Okuno said, "We are delighted to host Natasha and her team in Tokyo to work alongside our crew for the duration of the production." He added, “Being able to capture the exact, unique, look, and feel of the series that she wants to create is a pleasure. It isn't often that we get to work so closely with such a visionary U.S. creator. We are all enjoying the cross-cultural experience.”
The original series' story centers on a young woman who is struggling to keep jobs. One day, after leaving another failed job, she encounters the strange creature PuppyCat. He transports her to another dimension, and they begin working together to help Bee make her rent payments.
The original Bee and PuppyCat series debuted in 2013, and Allegri wrote the scripts while Larry Leichliter directed. Korean animation studio DongWoo Animation originally animated the series, and OLM became involved later.
OLM is best known for production on such anime as the various Miss Hokusai film.
