On Monday June 18, Funimation described the story:

Nothing is more appealing than the bright, sparkling world of School Idols! The girls of Uranohoshi Girls' High School are swept into idol fever, wanting nothing more than to become the next-best School Idol group. And they plan to do just that. Chika Takami brings together eight of her classmates to form Aqours, their own idol group. As long as they don't give up, any dream can come true!

Lantis.

Cleopatra, as both a Blu-ray and DVD. The set will be limited to 2000 copies on Blu-ray and a thousand copies on DVD.

The set also includes an interview with director Osamu Tezuka: God of Manga, plus 4K scanned trailers and liner notes by film critic Simon Abrams.

Both films are part of the Animerama trilogy of Mushi Pro films with adult sexual content. The 1969 film One Thousand and One Nights tells of the adventures of Aladdin as he travels through the Middle East in search of love, fortune, and power. In the 1970 film Cleopatra's story, three people from the future are spiritually sent back in time to relive the era of Caesar, Marc Anthony and Cleopatra. Both films were directed by Eiichi Yamamoto; One Thousand and One Nights has its original story credited to Osamu Tezuka, who is also credited with co-directing Cleopatra with Yamamoto.

The other film in the Animerama trilogy released by Mushi Pro was Belladonna of Sadness in 1973, which had a home release last year from Anime Limited.

Sentai Filmworks previously described the series:

College student Chitose Karasuma is determined not to do boring things as she enters the adult world. To this end, this bad-mannered beauty barges into a facility that trains would-be voice actors and actresses, somehow landing a job at “Number One Produce,” a Kansai accent, Chitose is about to learn that there's more to succeeding in this competitive industry than she imagined.

Project GN is credited with the show's original work, Saori Ōnishi — performed both the opening theme song "Bloom," and the ending theme song "Ima wa Mijikashi Yume Miyo Otome," under the group name "Girlish Number."

Anime Limited will release a standard Blu-ray edition of Persona 3 the Movie #4 Winter of Rebirth.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, carrying episodes 99 to 144 of the series.
