Comico Ends Netojū no Susume/Recovery of an MMO Junkie Manga Due to Author's Health

Manga inspired TV anime in October
Netojū no Susume manga due to Kokuyo's health. Comico discussed the situation with Kokuyo, and came to the decision because restarting the manga would be difficult for Kokuyo.
Kokuyo launched the manga in October 2013 on the Comico website, and put the manga on hiatus in July 2015. Comico published the manga's 87th chapter on the site a week before announcing the hiatus. Comico published the manga's second compiled volume in print in July 2015.

An episode 11 of the anime was bundled with the show's Blu-ray Disc box set in Japan in December. Crunchyroll began streaming the episode in December.
