The Irregular at Magic High School Gets Spinoff Novels About Assassin Challenging Tatsuya

Author Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei) is getting its first spinoff novel, titled Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Shiba Tatsuya Ansatsu Keikaku (The Irregular at Magic High School: Tatsuya Shiba Assassination Plot).
Satou Dengeki Bunko Magazine on August 9, and the first volume will ship in October. New chapters will serialize on the website on Fridays, though the website did not confirm when serialization will start.
The novel features a new heroine named Yuki Hashibami, a magician assassin who is not a magician herself. She challenges Tatsuya in the story.
Satou launched the original light novel series with illustrations by heading towards the climax.
The series has Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh.
The novel series inspired a 26-episode television anime adaptation that debuted in April 2014, directed by screened the film in theaters in the United States.
