posted on by Karen Ressler
ISLAND PC game and its anime adaptation on Sunday. The project is aiming to raise US$50,000 by October 10. If the campaign is successful, physical copies of the game are slated for November.
Those who pledge US$50 or more will receive a standard physical copy of the PC game, and those who pledge US$75 (early bird) or US$80 will receive the deluxe edition with an additional Steam key. This edition is an English version of the Japanese rerelease that will include a two-disc soundtrack and an artbook with interviews and background information.
Those who pledge US$229 (early bird) or US$299 will receive a deluxe Blu-ray box set for the anime along with a Steam key. The deluxe set will include a set of recording scripts and a unique filmstrip clipping for each copy.
The project has two stretch goals. At US$80,000 the artbook in the game's deluxe edition will be fully translated into English. If the campaign reaches US$150,000, it will fund a digital English release of the PlayStation 4 port of ISLAND.

Frontwing released a PlayStation 4 version in Japan on June 28.
Frontwing describes the game:
Urashima, an island far from the mainland. The people who live there lead carefree lives. But five years ago, the island's three great families suffered a series of misfortunes, and succumbed to suspicion. The people of the island cut off all with the mainland, and began a slow decline. The key to saving the island lies in three girls who belong to the three families. But they are bound by old traditions, and are conflicted. On that island, a lone man washes ashore. The man claims to be from the future, and he begins a solitary struggle to change the island's fate.
Yōsai Kūchū drew the original images and designed the characters. G.O. wrote the scenario.
