The official website for the television Ore ga Suki nano wa Imōto dakedo Imōto ja nai (The One I Love Is My Little Sister But She's Not a Little Sister) light novel series announced on Wednesday that the planned early streaming of the first episode has been cancelled "due to production issues." However, the website confirms that the anime will premiere on television as scheduled on October 10.
The staff had planned to stream the first anime episode via the Abema TV on October 1 at 24:30 (effectively, October 2 at 12:30 a.m.) All of these early streams of the first episode have been cancelled, although the cast will still host a pre-broadcast special — without the first anime episode — on Niconico Live on September 30 at 9:00, and then on dAnime Store on that same day at 10:00 p.m.
The "awkward sibling romantic comedy" series centers around the younger sister Suzuka Nagami and the older brother Yū Nagami. Suzuka is a beautiful third-year middle school student who has excellent grades and is the student council president. She wrote a novel about a little sister who dotes on her older brother, and the novel wins a light novel award. After they discuss the matter, Yū is the one who debuts as a proxy light novel author instead of Suzuka, under the pen name Chikai Towano.
The main cast includes:

Reina Kondo as Suzuka Nagami

Chinatsu Akasaki as Ahegao W Peace Sensei, the illustrator from Great Britain for "Chikai Towano's" books
Kazusa Aranami as Sakura Minazuki, a much-anticipated rookie voice actress who was already chosen as the main heroine in her debut role
The anime will premiere on the BS11 on October 12.

Yashikin (My First Girlfriend Is a Gal) is composing the music.
Junjō no Afilia (My First Girlfriend Is a Gal) is performing the ending theme song.
Ebisu launched the light novel series with illustrator Gintarō in 2016, and Dragon Age magazine in December.
