Live-Action Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw Red Films' 2 Trailers Posted

Presidio began streaming two trailers for Rei Mikamoto's Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw manga, on Monday. The first video below previews the first film, while the second video previews the second film.
The project consists of two films that will both open in Japan on Friday with 4DX screenings. The first film (left visual below) is subtitled "Nero no Fukushū" (Nero's Revenge). The second film (right) is subtitled "Geeko no Kakusei" (Geeko Awakens).

Asana Mamoru plays Nemesis, the leader of Uguisu Academy's New Student Council Guardians. Other cast include Nanami Hidaka, Momoko Kaechi, and Jun Aonami.
The original manga centers around Geeko Nokomura, who is in a lone struggle to confront her classmate Nero Aoi. Nero turned all of their classmates into zombies. To get to her, Geeko cuts down all of her former classmates.
Mikamoto launched the original manga in Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw refresh in Comic Beam last September.
A previous live-action film adaptation premiered opened in Japan in 2016.
released the film in North America in 2011.
Mikamoto Iron Ghost no Shōjo (Iron Ghost Girl) manga in Comic Beam in July 2017 and ended it last July. Kadokawa published the manga's second and final compiled book volume last August.
