Utawarerumono Zan Action Game's Trailer Previews 4 Characters

Game ships in West for PS4 in September

PlayStation 4 action game on Friday. The video previews the characters Ougi, Jachdwalt, Kiwru, and Nosuri.

The game will ship in North America on September 10. The game will then ship in Europe on September 13 and in Australia and New Zealand on September 20. The Emperor's Edition of the game will bundle a hardcover art book, soundtrack CD, mini art prints, and a paper fan for US$79.99. The Unmasked Edition will bundle a different soundtrack CD and a softcover art book for US$59.99.

AQUAPLUS Suara performed the opening theme song "Rinen -Kotowari-" for the game.

AQUAPLUS released Leaf's original Utawarerumono adult visual novel for PC in 2002. The adventure simulation game takes place in a world where people have animal ears and tails, and rival generals battle for supremacy. Sting developed a PlayStation 2 port, titled Utawarerumono: Chiriyukumono e no Komoriuta, which AQUAPLUS released in 2006. A PlayStation Portable port debuted in 2009. AQUAPLUS developed a remake of the game that release the game in the West for the PS4 and PS Vita in early 2020 with the title Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen.

The Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen (Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception) game shipped for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita in Japan in September 2015, and it debuted in Japan for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita in September 2016. The game shipped for PS4 and PS Vita in the West last September.

AQUAPLUS will game for iOS and Android devices in Japan this year. The game will be the franchise's first for smartphones.

The original game inspired a 2006 television anime series, a 2007 manga, and a 2009 original video anime series. released the series on home video.
