Itsuwaribito's Yuuki Iinuma Ends Manten no Hoshi to Aoi Sora Manga

Manga based on Hiroyuki Nishimori's debut novel launched in August 2018

The October issue of Yuuki Iinuma's Manten no Hoshi to Aoi Sora (The Starry Heavens and the Blue Sky) manga on Thursday.

The manga is based on Hiroyuki Nishimori's novel of the same name. The manga's story centers on Shingo Nakazawa, a high school boy who remains emotionless, even as the rest of humanity is coming to grips with the possibility of extinction due to the approach of a world-ending meteor. In the beginning of the story, Japan thinks itself saved from disaster, only to face another one.

Iinuma launched the manga in Monthly Sunday GX in August 2018. Shogakukan published the manga's second compiled book volume on April 19.

Nishimori (Cheeky Angel, published the original novel in July 2012 as his debut novel.

Iinuma previously collaborated with Nishimori on the Nanimo nai Kedo Sora wa Aoi (There's Nothing, But the Sky is Blue) manga, which is also ended it after seven volumes.

Iinuma ended the Libra of the New Era (Shinsei no Libra) manga in May 2018.

Nishimori began Cheeky Angel (series last October.
