Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack Anime Film Screens in U.S. on December 5

Amuro and Char, two best mobile suit pilots who fought together against Titans after the JION's independency war, must face each other in a fateful duel where the Char-led Neo-JION, attempt to drop a gigantic meteor and nuclear weapons on Earth in order to cause Nuclear Winter to wipe out its inhabitants.
The film debuted in Japan in 1988 as an adaptation of Tomino's Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - High Streamer novel. The film is set in the Universal Century timeline, and it was the first original feature-length theatrical release for the franchise. The anime was the franchise's first to include a computer-generated animation sequence.
Right Stuf released the film on Blu-ray Disc in 2016.
