Voice Actress Idol Unit i☆Ris Updates on Threats That Led to Cancelled Events

i☆Ris' official website on Saturday that, after allegedly receiving continued threats on i☆Ris' safety from a certain individual, Avex Pictures will now take a proactive stance in dealing with the threats by cooperating with authorities, who will launch an investigation that will focus on apprehending the individual.

i☆Ris canceled their appearance from certain events out of concern for their and their fans' safety after receiving threats in August. Avex Pictures increased security during events where the idol group made appearances, but the company claimed that the group continued to receive threats despite this.

The group Anime Weekend Atlanta event on October 31-November 3.
