Akira Film's 4K Remaster Gets IMAX Screenings in U.S. on September 24

IMAX announced on Friday that the 4K Akira anime film will screen in select theaters in the United States on September 24. The screening will have Japanese with English subtitles.

The remaster shipped on 4K Blu-ray Disc in Japan on April 24. At the time of the remaster's announcement, it was also planned for screenings in the United States.
