Suikoden: Star Leap Mobile Game Gets PC Release (Updated)

Story trailer streamed

Steam alongside the previously announced iOS and Android releases. Update: Konami streamed the story and teaser trailers with English subtitles:

The company streamed a story trailer for the mobile game as well as a video for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars (begins at around 14:22 in video below):

The official website for the Gensō Suikoden: Star Leap game describes the story:
The Rune of Change is one of the 27 True Runes that are said to have created the world. The story begins just east to the giant Scarlet Moon Empire, at a village located on the shore of a lake. One night, our hero, the village chief Hou's son, comes back home successful from his first hunt. The village is filled with celebration and brimming with hope for the coming days, but an assault is launched, and the fate of the village is changed in an instant. Our hero, along with Hisui, Shirin, and Shapur, embarks on a journey to restore peace to the village. In the midst of the great whirlpool of destiny, the Hero's small adventure turns into a large ambition,

Star Leap's story will take place prior to the first game and after Suikoden V. The main story will be fully voiced.

Kaho Nakamura wrote and performed the theme song "Camla."

Aki Shimizu will create a manga adaptation for the new game.

Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars (the HD remastered PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on March 6. The game got a Nintendo Switch 2 release on June 5.

The Suikoden II game is getting an anime adaptation.

Konami released the original game for the PlayStation in 1995, followed by the sequel game in 1998. The series has five main installments and five spinoff games.
