ANIMIX Con 2009 (July 17-29, 2008 Killeen, Texas)
“Where Anime and Gamers! unite!”
Animix is an organization specifically formed to promote and exhibit Anime (Japanese Animation) and video game culture in the Bell county area. We will be hosting a three-day event that will feature lots of entertainment for individuals and families, plus the opportunity to learn about Japanese culture. Our main goal is for everyone to have a good time and meet others who enjoy Anime, and share an interest in Japanese culture and video games.
The weekend of -- July 17-19, 2009 – Animix Convention 2009 will take place at the Plaza Hotel and Conference Center in Killeen, Texas. The hotel is right across the street from the Killeen Mall and just 15 minutes away from the Killeen Regional Airport.
Pre-Registration has already begun. The cost of early registration is $35 until March 31, 2009, $40 April to June, and thereafter registration is $45 dollars. Group discounts are available. Children 0-6 get in Free! If you plan to stay for the evening activities it is strongly suggested that you book a room at the hotel. For more information about registration check out our website:

Animix 2009 is offering something new and exciting. We have an exclusive event featuring an Rissa Northrop, Heidi and Michelle of Absurd Comics and Mark Crilley (Miki Falls), and Musical Guests: EyeShine, JScape and One Eyed Doll will be attending the convention.
This year's convention will feature “How to” workshops, Anime and Video Game s (discussions), cosplay and AMV competition with trophy winners, Japanese language classes, film screenings, video game play rooms, fashion shows, game shows, autograph sessions, an exhibit hall for buying goods and much more. Information included in this release is free to distribute.
