It's Launch Day - For Both Alcon 2012 (September 6 to 9) and London Anime Con 5 (June 30 to July 1)
- London Anime Con (30th June to 1st July) will be at the Rocket Complex in London. You can read up more on it and at http://www.londonanimecon.com. It is an epic 18+ anime and gaming event of over a thousand people from 11am right through to past midnight on both days. Pricing will be at a reduced £15 for two days or £8 for Saturday and just £7 for Sunday if you pre-pay now! There will be anime screenings, Video Gaming, an artist alley and manga chillout area, a karaoke lounge, an anime bar/cinema, manga workshops, Yu-Gi-Oh!, MTG etc), lots of awesome live-bands/singers, the top guests you want to meet from the internet, talks and far too many events to list including the cosplay masquerade, pub quiz, gaming tournaments, fashion show and much more!
- Kyle Hebert (who has voiced Kamina from Guren Lagaan amongst over FIFTY other anime and gaming titles), as well as cosplay-guests Valdrein, Twinfools, Nova, KellyJane and TealPirate and many more still to be announced!
Alcon will have events and activities going on from 10am in the morning through to 3am at night, including a dealers room, anime screenings, anime bar and night-club, artist ally, roleplaying, card-gaming, video-gaming room, another room for retro-gaming, a cosplay cafe, DDRing, J-Culture, Cosplay Hangout, events, s and much more, there is something for everyone, with more special events than you can shake a stick (of pocky) at!

- Camcon (12th May) is for all ages and shall take place at the Junction, Cambridge. This is an exciting new event run by our very own Zonic. You can read up more and at http://thecamcon.com/. - Bunkasai (11th March) is run by Akemi Solloway and is raising money for Aid for Japan. It is a new charity to orphans of the Japanese tsunami and earthquake that occurred on 11 March 2011 where over 20 000 people died on that day. On the one year anniversary of the disaster they plan to introduce their charity's activities with a display of Japanese culture at this event.
