Tora-Con 2012 Announces Early Pre-Registration Badge Pick-up and Final Guests

ROCHESTER, NY – April 2, 2012 – The RIT Anime Club is excited to announce Tora-Con's Pre-registration badge pick up party as well as Tora-Con's final guests for Tora-Con 2012: Jamie Marchi, Trina Nishimura and returning again this year, Uncle Yo!

Kyle Hebert got his start in the mid 1990s as a disc jockey for Radio Disney, under the pseudonym Squeege. This lasted until September 2005, when he moved from Dallas to Los Angeles, to pursue bigger interests in the world of voice acting. Kyle has also had cameo roles in various anime dubs such as Voice Actor in the SPJA Awards for his role as Kamina in Gurren Lagann. Hebert is also a podcaster, co-founding and hosting the weekly BigBaldBroadcast with his long time friend and , known only as Otherworld Steve.

Caitlin Tiffany Glass (born November 16, 1981) is an American voice actress and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, once again playing the charismatic Winry Rockbell. Along with directing, Caitlin enjoys adapting theme songs for FUNimation dubs, and can occasionally be heard singing one of them!

Leah Clark a voice actress, writer and ADR Director for FUNimation Entertainment. She began voice acting after shamelessly begging a friend to let her accompany them to an audition where she landed her first role as Girl B in an episode of Case Closed.

She credits the overwhelming amount of female characters in Negima! and an odd talent for creating sheep voices for the opportunity to play her first major role, Nodoka Miyazaki which opened the door for several other memorable roles to follow. Some of her favorites are: Suzuka in Suzuka, Fuyuki in Druaga, STRAIN, and a couple Case Closed movies on their way to voice acting greatness.

Raised on a steady diet of ADR Directing for several shows including Spice and Wolf, Sergeant Frog, and Negima!, amongst other "yet to be announced" ridiculously awesome titles.

Evangelion 2.0.

From Albany to Albuquerque, from Denver to D.C., Uncle Yo has toured many conventions to perform his unique stand-up comedy aimed exclusively at the geek

community. Discussion leader, game show host and emcee all-in-one, this Renaissance Nerd keeps the laughs coming and the show rolling. Armed with his giant D20, Uncle Yo celebrates all brands of nerdom: anime, comic books, video games, LARPing, Star Wars, RPG's and manga. He may be One Piece short of a Fullmetal Alchemist, but this Jedi intern promises to “Bebop your Cowboy so hard you'll feel it in your joystick.”

There will be a badge event pick up for those who have pre-ed for Tora-Con on Friday, April 20th at 7pm at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
