AKIBA'S TRIP: Undead and Undressed Director's Cut will also launch with a limited physical
‘Day One Edition’ in North America commemorating the 10-year anniversary since the release of the original title. This special edition will come with a musical selections CD and a set of nine large art cards featuring commemorative illustrations by various Japanese artists and is available for pre-order in North America through the XSEED Games Store and participating retailers for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
Updated from its original release for a new generation, AKIBA'S TRIP: Undead and Undressed Director's Cut places players in the role of Nanashi, an otaku mysteriously transformed into a vampire and thrust into a conspiracy of “Synthisters” plaguing the electronics mecca. Developed by ACQUIRE Corp., AKIBA'S TRIP: Undead and Undressed Director's Cut will release on Aug. 1 in North America and Europe digitally on the Nintendo Switch™, and as DLC on the PS4™ system and Windows PC. The title will be available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99/€29.99/£24.99, while the limited Physical Day 1 edition is available for preorder in North America for the Switch™ system for a MSRP of $39.99. The “Kati's Route” DLC will be available for the PS4™ system and Windows PC for $7.99/€7.99/£6.99. This title is rated “M for Mature” on console platforms by the ESRB, and is not rated for PC.
