Weekly Shonen Jump Lists Hiroyuki Nakano as New Editor-in-Chief

The back covers of this year's 31st and 32nd issues of Hisashi Sasaki stepped down from the role. Heishi is the 10th editor-in-chief of the magazine. Both issues additionally list Heishi as the magazine's publisher.
Similar to Sasaki and Heishi, Nakano also appeared as a character in Bakuman. manga.
ANN reached out to Viz Media for confirmation on the change, but the company didn't respond by press time.
Weekly Shonen Jump launched in 1968 and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. As part of the anniversary, the magazine is Dragon Ball (in the September pack).
This year's 33rd issue of the magazine on July 15 will be a commemoration issue celebrating the 20th anniversary of One Piece.
