Red Ranger Checks Out His Rice Paddy in Nagoya

shared his of the super sentai characters from Lionsgate's Power Rangers live-action film, but Nagoya went all out with a Red Ranger rice patty.
The artwork was sponsored by the Chaya Shinden Rice Patty Art Executive Committee, a conservation-focused group that raises awareness about paddy fields through planting and harvesting rice. This is the group's seventh year of operation and its first time collaborating with a film.

A total of 500 Nagoya citizens and local farmers came together on May 14 to plant the rice that would become the Red Ranger.
The group's chairman said, "We created a Power Ranger in a rice field as a collaboration project with Toei. I hope visitors get more interested in agriculture and feel the power of Japanese farmers through this collaboration."
The art will last until the end of July, it will then be harvested in October and distributed to the planters in December.
The film opens on July 15. The film opened at #2 in the U.S. box office. It has now planned for the film reboot if the new film is successful.
Japanese villages have previously rice paddy artwork.
