Former Tobu Zoo. Not one for subtlety, TATSUKI wore a full-scale penguin mask for the entirety of the award show, even when he went on stage to accept Anime of the Year.

TATSUKI expressed surprise at the win, but said ultimately the prize was also for all the Kemono Friends viewers.

Kemono Friends took first place, ranking above New Game!! rounded out the top 10.
The Twitter Trend awards are based on activity on the social media platform.
The popular mobile game Fate/Grand Order took the Game of the Year award, a surprise after it was NieR:Automata.
When it came to Word of the Year, Fate/Grand Order took that prize, too. "FGO" was the most tweeted word just above Kemono Friends. Other highlights were Tōken Ranbu, Precure.
The Word of the Year is a separate category from "Hashtag of the Year." When it came to hashtags, the mobile game and anime Nintendo Switch console.
