Wireless provider Docomo's dAnime Store (YouTube. In the video, Aoi takes a call about Musashino Animation potentially working on a commercial for dAnime Store.
Aoi: Oh, it's a commercial? Yes! Yes. Okay!
Tarō: What's up, Miyamori?
Aoi: It was a consultation about someone from dAnime Store wanting to make a commercial with Musani....
Tarō: If it's dAnime Store, that's where you can watch as much anime as you want on your PC or smartphone! Let's do it! Let's do it!
Aoi: But Musani has never made a commercial.
Tarō: Huh?
Masahito: It was just the conversation, but I heard.
The cast of the anime returned to voice their characters and make new recordings for the commercial. The cast includes P.A. Works collaborated on one part of the cuts, and the video also includes new music.
The official website for the Shirobako television anime series updated in May with a graphic that reads "under construction." As of the posting of this article, the graphic is still there, and the other pages of the website still work as normal.
Shirobako focuses primarily on Aoi Miyamori, a production assistant at a fictional anime studio called Musashino Animations. The story follows the daily office life and problems that arise in an animation studio, and the workflow in making an anime. Parallel to that, the show also focuses on Miyamori's friends, who all work or are aiming to work in the anime industry: a key animator, a CG animator, an aspiring voice actress, and a scriptwriter.
The anime premiered in October 2014, and licensed and released the anime on home video in North America.
