Anime On DVD first noticed that the Gundam: Char's Counterattack movie DVD will be out on 8/20/2002, at the price point of $29.98.
Meanwhile today, ADV sent out several press releases detailing two Perfect Collections:
The Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 Perfect Collection will contain the entire 26-episode TV series on 6 DVDs. The DVDs contain English, Spanish, and Japanese language versions, and DVD extras include character bios. The Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 Perfect Collection has a $89.98 MSRP, and is set to come out on 8/13.
Likewise, the Generator Gawl Perfect Collection will contain the entire series (12 episodes) on 4 DVDs. Japanese and English are the only languages on the DVDs. DVD
extras include character sketches. The Generator Gawl Perfect Collection has a $59.98 MSRP, and is due to hit street on 9/3.
ADV's final PR of the day was Steel Angel Kurumi DVD 2. Due out 7/16 for $29.98, Steel Angel Kurumi DVD 2 includes 6 episodes, a behind the scenes photo shoot with the English voice actresses, translator notes, the U.S. teaser, original Japanese artwork, and a printable fortune teller featuring the character Saki.
