Manga based on acclaimed collection of folk tales set in northeastern Japan

The Japan Information & Culture Center at the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C. held an exhibition of Mizuki's art in March, and the fifth Gegege no Kitarō series in 40 years is airing in Japan now. The second live-action film based on the manga will open in Japan on July 12.
