Keiichi Miyako to resume activities after 7-month hiatus for treatment
Keyboardist Keiichi Miyako of the Japanese rock band announced in March that he had been diagnosed in February and would go on hiatus after the band's 15th anniversary tour to undergo treatment.
Miyako underwent treatment from May to September, and his health has improved to the point that he can resume daily life. He is working towards a return to onstage performances next spring. To prevent a relapse, he will still go to the hospital two to three times a month for the next two years.
SOPHIA performed "Boku wa Anime Expo this past July and performed without Miyako.
