Captain Harlock CG Film Now Available on Netflix in U.S., U.K.

The film is among the most successful Japanese films ever screened in Italy, earning $6.8 million by the end of January. The film also was screened out of competition at the 70th Venice International Film Festival last year. More than 80 countries and regions have sent offers to Toei Animation to distribute Space Pirate Captain Harlock. The film won the best international animated feature award at the fifth annual 3D Create Arts Awards in January.
Netflix had and in the United Kingdom starting on August 1. The site is streaming the film with Japanese or Spanish audio and with English or Spanish subtitles.
Netflix is streaming the first 100 episodes of Hunter x Hunter with Japanese audio and English and Spanish subtitles. Crunchyroll is streaming the series in various countries as it airs.
