Drawn & Quarterly to Publish Collected Works of Yoshiharu Tsuge

Tsuge was a pioneer of gekiga ("dramatic pictures") comics, a genre named by Screw-Style"), a surreal story about a man wandering a desolate, post-war Japan.

The license to Tsuge's works has been notoriously unobtainable to English publishers. Drawn & Quarterly Executive Editor Tom Devlin commented, "We've been trying to get him for years. So have many other publishers. But finally, his agent told us, he's in failing health, so he finally said to us, 'go ahead.'"
Publisher Peggy Devlin noted that, when the company previously published work by His Favorite manga creator was and he would always say Tsuge.
released the film in North America under the title Screwed.
