SaikouCon Welcomes Last Minute Additions to Guests of Honor Roster

8/21/13 Breinigsville, PA – Anime Ate My Brain Magazine announced last year that they will be hosting a convention called SaikouCon. SaikouCon, which means "best convention”, is the Northeast's newest large scale anime convention.

Presented by Anime Ate My Brain Magazine, a division of Tastes Like Rock! Publishing (Tastes Like Rock! Music Magazine, Anime Ate My Brain Magazine, Tastes Like Rock! Radio, and the original webcomic Zombie Skatepunk Apocalypse, and Amerimanga Machina Saisei: Jakkan), the convention promises to be a yearly high point in the Summer months of the anime convention season. Boasting a dedicated staff of longtime Japanese anime and manga fans, SaikouCon is excited to be the only convention dedicated exclusively to anime, manga, and Japanese culture in this area of Northeast Pennsylvania.

Confirmed Guests of Honor include Voice Actrees/Paranoia Agent, and many more).

Featured Guests will include The D20 Girls Project of New Jersey (like the Suicide Girls just without the nudity, but better because they all love games, comics, and ANIME), the film makers behind Cosplayer Nation (the first large scale documentary devoted to cosplay), The League of Hot Geeks, and the Sci-Fi Photo Guys!

Musical guests include Hitomi Himekawa from New York City by way of Japan, and Con favorites The Slants from Oregon, all performing at SaikouCon 2013's Cosplay Masquerade Ball on August 24!

The convention will always feature some of the best J-Pop, and geek culture musical acts from all over the US and beyond.

All of this plus top creators, writers, artists, distributors, industry insiders, English dub and original Japanese voice talent, some of the best cosplay talent, shows, masquerades; and so much more!

g SaikouCon 2013's Guest of Honor roster a mere 72 hours before the event are Bill Rogers (Mass Effect: Paragon Lost)! SaikouCon is happy to welcome these latest editions to their first year, SaikouCon 2013 looks to shine even brighter than hoped for!

At the door registration will be taking place beginning at 11 AM on Friday August 23 before the convention opens at 1:30 pm. At the door registration fees are as follows: Day for Friday 8/23: $40 per person; Day for Saturday 8/24 $40 per person; Day es for Sunday 8/25 $25 per person; and available Friday only, 3 Day es for $75 per person. Please keep an eye out for the Guest Registration Table and the Pre-Registration Guest Check In Table. Please , now that pre-registration is closed, there will be no Parental Consent Forms given out at the Guest Registration Table, so no guests 16 and under will be able to attend without a chaperon age 18+ unless they have pre-ed. This is to keep paperwork onsite to a minimum so registration moves quickly and smoothly.

SaikouCon 2013 will be held August 23, 24, and 25 of 2013 in the heart of the Lehigh Valley area in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania. Hosting the convention in 2013 will be the Holiday Inn Conference Center Lehigh Valley.
