One of the leading anime production companies in Japan. I.G's primary goal, according to president Mitsuhisa Ishikawa, is to make anime that stands on its own ground without being an extension of manga.
Originally Known as: I.G. Tatsunoko
Production I.G also has two other major animation divisions: Bee Train, before the latter became independent in February 2006.
